Anyways, no one knows, for certain, if a "historical"--actual--person existed. Certainly no one knows what he did or said. Some of the earlier layers suggest a lack of claim of divinity . . . but who really knows.

Jesus is a mythical character which is real in the myth (until it is Disneyfied). It was the mythmaker who used the metaphysical reality presented to us as Jesus to form a new religion that would be more aggressive because it could follow an example instead of being led into the future by prophetic messages.

Jesus never had a biological father because he was the reborn Joseph born of the virgin woman identity that served him well from the netherworld of his subconscious mind (TOL). From here she was set free to enter into his conscious mind which became public knowledge in the Cana parable. So there is part of your answer.
