Does anyone remember the Son of God?
I'm quite sketchy on the details, but I know (let's say, within the last year), there was an article on this site about an Eastern "Son of God" (From China, I believe). He performed many of the same miracles as Jesus, including being buried for several days and rising from the dead. This was atleast several hundred years b.c., possibly thousands. The basis for the article was, "If you believe in Jesus, you must believe in this guy. Look at all this evidence..." It pointed out how the man in question had left his personal testimony to the fact that he was God, how his followers had written of him about during and immediately after his life, ect. I think there was actually a debate about the credentials of the evidence that raged in a forum for some time. Unfortunately, I can't find any information on the man, or the article. Does anyone remember this?
