I'll answer:
Anyway---------this "Creation Science" Fundie guy does seem to like to use very many cut and paste stuff and "links" to support his case. That's fine, as long as he uses them to support his case and not as his case. I have not noticed any cut and paste or "links" at all used in posts on this forum. I would assume that "links" and cut and paste are either discouraged or completely disallowed here ------- They're quite often used here. It's encouraged that one use them as I described above (in support of one's case and not as one's case). But they're not disallowed, within copyright limits. --------If so I should tell him in advance that he will have to use his own words to explain his case? That would be highly preferable. If he posts links or quotes and can't defend or explain his case in his own words, he probably won't get much respect. |

Yes, most people here tend to think for themselves, hence the tendency to use original wording. It is also a sign of an active and creative mind when someone can express his ideas and beliefs in new and different terms. |

Can we split this topic off, please? I think it interesting to discuss theist's welcome and the apllicability of linking and advice for fundies but it is off topic to this thread. I would like to reply to the NEW TOPIC when it becomes a new topic. Thanks! |
