Move to post 'In God We Trust' in schools...
I don't know if this has already been covered, but I found it while looking through news sites:
http://www.freedomforum.org/templates/document.asp?documentID=15803 I don't live in the USA, but I think this concerns everyone in some form--afterall, Canada is largely influenced by the South. I don't think I'd be able to stand being in a classroom where "In God we Trust" is glaring me in the face. Next, it'll be the Ten Commandments. |

I am originally from Virginia and the "Ten Commandments" has been a hot topic of late. I have been watching with interest as the state debates the topic. The local paper that I read on line is pretty funny. The people are not concerned that they will be forced to post the commandments, they are more worried how they will pay for the plaques out of the school budgets. I guess band camp is now out.

This is much too relevant to stay here...I'm moving it to Church/State Separation.
