okay, i just recently signed up here. i'm not sure what took me so long.
i have a lot of questions regarding the debunking of creationist theory but i don't want to rehash stuff that has probably already been asked a 100 times. so can you recommend some good resources online. preferably ones that have q and a's or faqs? i've been to talkorigins and it's a wonderful site but i want to see what else is out there... also, what is ID? thanks and take care, benny |

Talkorigins is definitely the most comprehensive of the sites you request. You almost certainly will not find a better site that deals with a broad range of subjects.
However, there are many good sites that are specific to a particular topic, so if you have specific questions just tell us what they are, and we will see what we can come up with. For example, I know of an excellent site that debunks Micheal Behe's ID theory, by showing how a mousetrap (behes favourite design analogy) could be built up in small increments. Actually, I got that site from the talkorigins incredibly large links page. So you might want to have a look there for other things you want to research. As I mentioned above, ID stand for Intelligent Design theory. It is a comparitively sophisticated breed of creationism that cloaks itself in unneccesary scientific jargon. Be well prepared for good sounding vagueries and difficult logic if you plan to delve into this area. |

This site is pretty useful
http://www.asa3.org/ because creationists can't just shrug it off as a nasty atheist plot. |

Here's a great site:
http://www.gate.net/~rwms/EvoEvidence.html The portion on evidence for great ape/human common ancestry is really good. Great creationist stumping stuff. We frequently use the chimp/human chromosome fusion evidence to challenge new creationists who come here. |

I like Troy Britain's site—didn't know about it. One thing, though. His ID cartoon would be better if the blackboard was completely blank.
It's like this: What follows is a complete list of arguments for ID: |
