LOL! That should be the new motto of Christians around the globe!

Talking

If nothing else from that free-for-all survives, I sure as hell hope this does:

Quote:
FALWELL: ... I certainly have no way of knowing who's demon possessed.
This quote needs to get shoved up Falwell's corpulent, sanctimonious ass at every available opportunity. What good is a televangelist who can't recognize demon possession?

I'm starting to believe it.

Monday Reverend Jerry Vine (ph) said - quote - "Islam was founded by Mohammed, a demon-possessed pedophile who had 12 wives, and his last one was a nine-year-old girl".
A point of inquiry here. Is it wise for someone whose religion teaches that God impregnated a twelve-year old girl without her knowledge to be throwing around accusations of pedophilia?

It would be wise for you to check your facts because that's not what Christians teach...

Ah, it appears I may have been in error. He impregnated her with her knowledge. But the point is the same.

Angry

Jerry Falwell is another candidate for a coal shovel to the face, but his thick wall of ignorance would probably protect him.

I seem to recall that, early on, there were some verses in the Koran that Mohammed later removed, saying he had been posessed by demons when he wrote them.

I found a page on this, which is presumably biased, but points to possibly-real sources:

<a href="http://answering-islam.org/Hahn/satanicverses.htm" target="_blank">http://answering-islam.org/Hahn/satanicverses.htm</a>

On the other hand, I think that, given this, the claim that he was "demon-posessed" is misleading; the claim was that he was posessed when he wrote a few specific things... This is like attacking Christianity on the grounds that "Jesus talked to the devil repeatedly!".

I think Jesus only talked with the devil once according to the NT.

However,he has allegedly had some sort of "relationship" with perhaps millions of talking jackasses during the past 1700 years.

I couldn`t resist.
