Please HELP ME!
I wanted to get this message out before it is too late. There are people (who are Christian) in the US government that are using unconventional methods to promote their worldview. They want to be so right about their religion that even when they know they (some very high level people) they will do what it takes to ensure that they are perceived as right. I know some of the methods I believe they are using are not considered logical by most skeptics, but please just consider the possibilities. I don't know if they know about my intuitive knowledge or not, but I think they may be observing me (by some of these unconventional methods). I believe they are making me think even more unconventional beliefs so that they may keep the secret muddled up in my mind. I know what you may think this sounds like, but just consider the possibility. I would like some good secular advice on what I should do (besides seeing a physician).
Thank you |

MARS4U; one simple whaddyecall uh, prophylactic for impending "paranoid" thoughts such as these which ? you seem to be entertaining? {I am very reluctant to use this stupid label; I've been called it so often myself.} .....:Self--medicate your worrisome thoughts, Mars4U, by remembering that you are probably NOT IMPORTANT enough to anybody that they"d bother. to try to run you, etc. Many[most?] paranoid ideas, delusions of reference, etc are based on one's HOPE that other people CARE about 'you' enuf to want to RUN you. Look closely at that idea; and see that it's unlikely. YOU don't MATTER that much. Meanwhile, get some exercise; take up the Tuba; build a scow; join a choir..... Get your attention off yerself for a bit. Come here & get hot about other ideas. Goodluck. Abe

I've considered the possibilities, and I think you should see a physician ASAP.

TOTO..... um.... Do you-yourself have that much confidence in the run-of-the-mill members of the medical mafia? nearly-all of whom are operating on outa-date data they may've picked up in med school decades ago? I have serious doubts about any doctors's competence to deal w/ ANYthing. After a 30-year paradise WITHOUT doctors, I encountered some recently; and , man!, doctors are WEIRD! They are also IGNORANT of ordinary "secular" information. One of them labelled thinking-about standard philosophical questions [from a 101 course, 'twould be]..., he labelled mention, of those, "bizarre ideas"; and assumed considered-consideration of them probably diagnostic of "Psychosis". Whew! [Sorry to over-comma-tize; trying to inflect print-here for clarity.] All an M.D. would probably do to the panicky poster here wd be to prescribe some damn pills; doing-which wd very-probably leave our guy worse-off than he started. I don't think doctors are gods, but I don't think they are as incompetant as abe makes out.
I also don't see a real church state issue here, so I am going to bump this to secular life style and support. |
