Lightbulb Atheistic Logo's

Hi,

On www.invisiblepinkunicorn.com /.net /.com you'll
find 2 atheistic logos: My own IPU logo and the
atom logo from American Atheists.

They are both availible in Adobe Illustrator 10
format and 2 gif sizes's. I hope that'll be a
help for those trying find and adapt an atheistic
logo for their website.

If you got any other ideas for atheistic logos or
just want to flame my presumptuous blasphemy, let
me know on ta@invisiblepinkunicorn.org /.net /.com

I must confess I have always considered the American Atheist's symbol rather stupid . . . reminds me of "Atom Ant"--no, not "Adam Ant," this was a generic stupid kids cartoon. You could tell he was atomic--he had an atom sign.

As for an Invisible Pink Unicorn, you speak BLASPHEMY against the TRUE FAITH of SANTA (PBUH)!

Welcome to the forum . . . Heretic!

Well, it does have a certain Chernobyl ambience to it. Thats why I felt the need to design a logo for something that makes its occasional appearance in the atheist vs. theist debate. Primarily for my own scandinavian website on www.ateist.org (ateist being atheist in danish/swedish/norwegian/etc.)

As I said...if anyone has an another idea...let me know.

Heres one I made in Photoshop.

I know the 'Darwin fish' has been done before, but I like this one more.

Have fun.

Great work!

I'm going to move this to Misc Disc, if you don't mind.

Question

Isn't 'Atheist' already an adjective?

As far as I'm aware, atheist is still a noun. Atheistic is an adjective however.

by 'already an adjective' I meant that it is BOTH an adjective and a noun:

Quote:
adj : related to or characterized by or given to atheism; "atheist leanings" [syn: atheistic, atheistical] n : someone who denies the existence of god
-dictionary.com lookup.

When I hear/read 'atheistic' I think Archie Bunker's "You atheistic pinko meathead!" line. Atheistic is of course a word, but I suppose my own prejudices lean toward using the simpler 'atheist' noun/verb.

eh, minor nit, I guess.
