As a future teacher, this article from AiG made me sneer somewhat:

I'm glad that here in Canada, the parasitic promotion of YEC pseudoscientific garbage to teachers is a rarity. If you're an educator in the US, then boy do I feel for you.

Even less fortunate than the educators are the students themselves. More and more, they are being torn between the politics of YEC and honest science.

I have a solution for this, but I fear it would quickly result in embarrassing incidents involving the police.

I sure hope that the AiG was pushing YEC/creationism literature, and not Intelligent Design literature, seeing that ID supposedly "isn't creationism" when it's presented to education boards. That would be lying...not the best christian rolemodel to portray.

Not to worry, AiG is YEC all the way. They disagree with ID almost as much as they do evolution. Their site is a trip.

No they don't disagree with ID. They only say ID doesn't go far enough, in that it doesn't make it clear that the Intelligent Designer is Jesus Christ.
