Except for this jingle during WWI:

Gott strafe England and God save the King
God this, God that, and God the other thing
"Good God", said God, "I've got my work cut out!"

[The first phrase is "God punish England" in German]

And for all the other times where this or that leader has claimed that the Xian God is on his side. The Crusades had been Xian Holy Wars, Xianity's answer to Islam's Jihads.

And more!

Sandstorm Traps Allied Troops in Desert

Quote:
A monster sandstorm trapped coalition troops Wednesday in a howling, burnt-sienna world of smacking winds and blistering sand, which penetrated goggles, biochemical suits, boots and even underwear.

...The worst sandstorm in decades, with winds whipping at 50 mph and upward, began Tuesday and stalled thousands of soldiers headed toward Baghdad, some close enough to strike the capital - if only they could see it.
Hey Magus, now that you've come to stick your long nose into one of my threads, are you ready to address my objections to your claims about the Dead Sea Scrolls?

Tell that to the Amalekites! Oh, wait, you can't, because they were wiped out by the Israelites, following YWHW's orders... oops.

oddly enough, they were wiped out centuries before their founder, Amalek, was even born!

Yeah, and what about the jubusites, girgashites, and philistines? God kicked thier asses didn't he?

Of course, once you throw in an iron chariot, god can't seem to do much at all.

What about Christians like the Emperor Constantine?
You wouldn't even have your religion if this clown didn't think the new god on the block was going to help him and his troops.

Talking

Ojuice:

You mention a "God of descarte's philosophy". This leads me to a question...Do you believe that there is a god for every single noun in the universe? Do all "concepts" get gods? Or just important concepts like philosophies from important people like Descartes? If I invent a concept called "Beeism" that revolves around the concept that everyone is secretly a raccoon in the wrong body, does that mean that there is now a "god of Beeism"? If not what made Descartes get a god and not me? If so, did that god always exist and just do nothing until today or did the god of Beeism just exist when I created the philosophy today? If not how do you determine what things have gods and what things don't? And how do you know that Mars is on our side? Is it just because he likes war? If so, wouldn't he be on the Iraqi side because he wants to prolong the war and the best way to do so is to help the underdogs?

I'm sorry, but your seemingly completely crazy belief system always draws tons of questions from me. Thus was originally supposed to be a single question but I got carried away. Maybe I should create a thread called "B interrogates Ojuice" or something because your particular faith confuses the shit out of me.

Funny thing, I was just talking to a Muslim friend. (He's more of a cultural Muslim than a true believer.) He is about to give up his belief in God/Allah, because there doesn't seem to be any justice in the universe. And when he asks other Muslims why Allah would allow Iraqi babies to have their heads blown off, they tell him that the Iraqis drink alcohol.

Well, considering a bear killed 40 some odd CHILDREN for calling someone "baldy"....I think it's kind of par for the course with religion....
