Carl Sagan smoked pot and hated nuclear weapons. He even dared to criticize our government on more than one occasion. I just don't see how someone like that would be honored on a stamp, especially now that we're living in a Republican theocracy.

Besides, haven't atheists and agnostics already been on stamps? Haven't there been Edison stamps? Or Einstein stamps?

I would rather see a saying on an Atheist stamp. (Most people just think of Sagan as that guy who did the PBS series.)

Maybe, "No hell below us.. Above us only sky."

Or something along those lines.

Maybe missus_grumby can make us up one.

Hmm, I wonder if smoking jebus would look good on a stamp with the phrase "god is santa for adults."
