When I was little, and enamored with my Ranger Rick magazines, I asked my mom if I would have Ranger Ricks in heaven. Her answer was whatever makes you happy will be in heaven with you. Who wouldn't want to go where there are Ranger Ricks?

Now, along this same line, my mom says that it won't be heaven for her unless she still gets to be with my dad. His reply--"It's got to be my heaven too!"

If I'm wrong, and there is a God like the Christians say, I don't want any part of him or his vision. I'd go to hell in order to prove a point about what he's done to my mother.

I never really worried to much about going to heaven as a child, although I did pray to God to turn me into a werewolf for about three months straight. I guess the same desires were at work, immortality and all...

I felt pretty put out by the lack of response. So began my descent down the slippery slope to atheism.

And Christians would say I was never really a True Christian.
