Gould's Testimony Mclean vs. Arkansas
Most people have probably seen it already but I'm read it now and it's an excellent read. Gould shows no mercy and exposes the deceptive claims of creation "science".

Be careful, it contains a few mis-transcriptions, like
pelycosaurs - plesiosaurs (some Mesozoic marine reptiles) amniotes - ammonites (Mesozoic nautilus-like cephalopods) Reliqwae Deluviavi - Reliquiae Diluvianae (William Buckland's book on "Relics of the Flood") dentician - dentition (the sort of teeth one has) Jack Monod - Jacques Monod (molecular biologist who discovered operons, sets of genes regulated as a group) O'Parin - Oparin (biologist who speculated about the origin of life) |

Thanks for the link, I had it bookmarked once but I've never read it and then deleted the bookmark.
Gould was a great man, very lucid and likable. Thanks again. |

A good read, but I noticed that the defense lawyers fell into the same traps as the creationists -- quote mining and confusing Lamarkian and Darwinian evolution.
