wasted wasted wasted TIME
i was directed to this thread by a fellow IIDB'r and i'm so glad i came ...if nothing else to get Conchobars capsulization ...
But for the most part i sooooo do not comprehend spending one second in dialogue with a theist ...WHY why waste your precious time...? It's like going to an insane asylum and arguing with inmates over which fairy tale is best or in the matter of fundies which one is the right one... It's such a waste for Freethinking Brights to ingage in...unless you consider it some form of biosphere cleanup. |

Darwin26,
How exactly do you determine whether or not a new person you meet is a theist or not and whether or not you should waste a second of your time conversing with them? Anyway, I think that it is valuable to talk to a diverse lot of people, especially when they disagree with me. Disagreements challenge me, and cause me to refine and strengthen or re-examine and discard my ideas and views. --tibac |

It's about the Subject
Wildernesse, let me narrow the size of the waste basket down:
Dialogue on who or what your savior is. How or Why you need to be saved. When and Where your savior emminates from. this is all a total waste of my time |

So what you meant was that you think it is a waste of time to talk about theism, not to theists.
Likewise, I think that it's generally a waste of time to talk about vegetarianism, but not necessarily to vegetarians (unless all they will yammer on about is being a vegetarian). --tibac |
