Evil Creationists
Sorry, after hearing creationists rail about all the awful things "evolutionists" do I just can't resist posting this rather sad story:

In fairness to Cuvier, he had believed in special creations over geologic time, rejecting all-at-once creationism. However, he seemed to think that adaptation was all-or-nothing, and as a result, that evolution could not happen.
He also convincingly demonstrated that extinction had happened, by pointing to fossils of big beasts in places where nobody had ever claimed to see a living one. Before him, a common opinion was that God would not allow a species to go extinct (seriously!). |

Evil Creationists? Isn't that a redundant term?
