Stupid Question.
A friend brought this up, and I laughed at her.
"What would you do if we discovered an alien race, and they were Christian?" Assuming of course that only names of places (like Isreal) had been changed significantly. |

Well, if gawd created us in HER image then these Alien Christians must look just like us! And that means that Alien Jesus looks like Willie Nelson, too.
What would you do if we discovered an alien race and they worshiped the IPU (PBUHH)? |

A unicorn cannot be both invisible and pink. If it's invisible, it's not reflecting any light in the visible spectrum. Pink is in the visible spectrum. Thus, the unicorn could either be reflecting pink light OR not be reflecting any visible light at all. The two are mutually exclusive.
HAH! Disproved your unicorn! Nyaa! |

Obviously Her pinkness can be both invisible and pink at the same time. She is a pink unicorn that constantly emits a field of invisibility around Herself. The only thing that you proved is that you should be burnt at the stake for your blasphemy. |

The Invisible Pink Unicorn came to me in a dream and said: "Behold, I do not exist. Expunge me from your brain."
Does the fact that I've not been able to mean: The Invisible Pink Unicorn does exists and that I was, after all, only dreaming; Because the Invisible Pink Unicorn doesn't exist, she could not have come to me in a dream and therefore could not have told me to expunge her from my brain? I did expunged her from my brain, but don’t realise it because messages posted here keep replanting her in it again? I should see a psychiatrist? |

I mean, think about the implications to religion. If we're supposedly "made in God's image", what's up with this other intelligent civilization? Especially if they were more advanced than us... Where do they fit into the scheme of things? Heck, what if they don't even HAVE religion? Or for other fun, what if they do have religion and it's similar to some other religion we have on Earth, like one of the eastern religions or paganism? Funnier yet, what if the aliens we met were missionaries for their religion? "Pardon me, but I would like to share my love of Zartog with you." I know more than a few folks who would just about swallow their teeth over that one. [ August 06, 2002: Message edited by: MzNeko ] [ August 06, 2002: Message edited by: MzNeko ]</p> |
