Seems to me along this vein, there are quite a few individuals, groups, organizations, cities, countries, etc. that need boycotting.

It looks as though all good, patriotic Americans will have to stay indoors with their radios and TVs off for the next few months, in case they inadvertantly support France, the Dixie Chicks, organisations that support gay rights, or in fact pretty much anyone!

If the Dixie Chicks want to criticize the President, they should pack their bags and move to a free, open country that believes people should be able to voice whatever opinion they choose without sanctions.

Where were these Chicks when Bush was ignoring the rest of the world at Kyoto??
While people are boycotting the Dixie Chicks, they also may as well take their Resident's advice and duck tape their windows. This would make it possible to boycott the air, which contains revolution and other such "un-American" elements. "We are ashamed that the President is from Texas." ![]() Wow! Did Janis Joplin not really die and manage to reemerge as a Dixie Chick?? |

That Dixie chick is going to be roasted alive when she gets back to Texas. Her recording company can kiss their profits goodbye. The market for their type of crappy country tunes is largely the bible belt conservative states, and she just blew her hack chick group to bits with that crowd.
Another thing, is that it is out of line to spout your dumass political ideas when you are performing your cruddy songs on a stage. I don't want to hear anyone's dam political views if I have gone to hear their music. Someone mentioned Janis Joplin. Well, Janis Joplin could out-sing, out-drink and out-screw, every one of these dixie chicks a thousand times over, and she didn't need to spout off any dumass political ideas. These lousy Dixie chicks are no Janis Joplins. Texas will kick dixie chick ass up and down the streets. Mark my words. |

They sold out Giants Stadium for several consecutive shows. I think their appeal is much broader than just the South.
