Jesus crucified 21AD?
I came across this webpage.
http://www.askwhy.co.uk/awmob/awpaul/chr210MANCensoringJosephus.html According to it _Acta_Pilati_ dates Jesus' death to 21AD. At the end, it mentions that the Slavonic version of Josephus' _Jewish_War_ also dates the crucifixion to 21AD. I find it strange that these two sources agree. Didn't Vorkosigan say that Eusebius also knows a date of 21 CE?
Vorkosigan or anybody, do you have chapter and verse on all this? If all this is true, it could imply a major revision of what we think about Jesus. best, Peter Kirby |
