Prophecy denies Free Will?
There are many prophecies in the Bible. So, here's a question re: prophecies for those who believe in them:
Can man, by exercising his Free Will, prevent a prophecy from coming true? If not, do prophecies interfere with human Free Will? Jamie |

And if so, does that make the prophets false, since their prophecies didn't come true? Ergo, we should be legally required to stone them to death?

So since the prophecy is going to come true no matter what, doesn't that completely trash the concept of free will? If Isaiah prophesized that I'd die in a desert, and nothing I can do will prevent that, how can you say I have free will? If I truly had free will, I should theoretically be able to decide to never ever go to a desert.
