Default Freewill?

It seems like the more reasonable defenses of Christianity depend on freewill. My question is what happened to the reformed concept of bondage of the will? The protestant reformation was very much contrary to the notion of freewill.

Sorry man don't know much about protestantism. We're a Catholic nation.

I hope you don't mind if I stray a bit...

God is absolute power (omnipotent).
Man is free.

Either one of them exist, the cosmos is not big enough for the two of them, why?

Because Absolute power and freedom do not match.
I may not know much about protestantism, but this much I know about liberty. A strong being is bane to the free man.
