It does not follow at all. That is the fallacy. If you know that it is:
a) an integer
b) less than ten
but:
c) it is not any integer less than ten

You have shown that it is indefinate, or rather, an imaginary number. Which, under the original terms of the argument, shows that God does not exist. Basically, its saying that if 2+2=4, ther is a god, and if 2+2=5, there is no god. He does the math, and gets...2+2=5. Therefore, God exists (under his logic)

P1) There are a number of birds
P2) If God exists, then it is definate
P3) If God does not exist, then it is indefinate

C1) The number of birds is indefinate
C2) Therefore, God exists.
