what a strange world it would be
Just imagine if gods did actually exist. Wouldn't it be amazing? Or would it be pretty damn horrible? If you thought the world was a mess now with nations fighting each other what would it be like with deities getting in the mix and orchestrating proceedings.Talk about hell. Would they all get along with each other? It might be a utopia.
This is what reality could be like because either all gods exist or none exist. Obviously none exist. "But it says in this book or that book that god x does exist" comes the plaintive response. If you put 'This book is true' at the front of, say, Grimms Fairy Tales or LOTR would that make them true? |

Sid, you are quite right. Look at what a mess the gods made of things in the Trojan War.

It sounds like the world would be a lot like the Hercules/Xena universe. But I liked the show, so I can't say it would be a bad place to live. But, if we found a world where gods exist, would it mean women would kick the hell of out men in every fight, much like the Xena universe?

Hmmm...this is probably better suited for somewhere other than the Existence of God(s) forum. Misc. Discussions, perhaps? The mods in that forum will correct me if I am wrong, I'm, sure.
