It's kinda cool that in a thread about oral sex you have "Experience: 74%" in your profile!
Hey seebs, long time no viddy! Slightly more on-topic: I read somewhere recently (FHM or something, I think) that swallowing a man's semen conditions the female body to that particular male, and makes pregnancy more likely (once full service is resumed, of course). HR |

Song of Solomon
2:1 I am the rose of Sharon, and the lily of the valleys. 2:2 As the lily among thorns, so is my love among the daughters. 2:3 As the apple tree among the trees of the wood, so is my beloved among the sons. I sat down under his shadow with great delight, and his fruit was sweet to my taste. 2:4 He brought me to the banqueting house, and his banner over me was love. 2:5 Stay me with flagons, comfort me with apples: for I am sick of love. 2:6 His left hand is under my head, and his right hand doth embrace me. lo, biblical erotica doth rock. Although the issue is not directly addressed afaik in the Bible, I think there is no problem with it as long as it's mutually satisfying. There are directives to please each other and if oral sex does that, then as it's stated in Genesis: "It was verygood."

The New Testament seems to see marital sex as a necessary evil for procreation and what not. Although it states the marriage bed is undefiled, if one looks at that in the context of REVELATION 14 it could mean that couples shouldn't have sex at all--even when sleeping in the same bed. There's also all the preaching against indulging the flesh.

Indeed! The repression of sexual desire, and the frustration caused by the lack of sexual satifaction are the greatest cause of mental instability that anyone can inflict on themselves. It is my belief that the more devout someone behaves, the more screwed up they are sexually. I believe that some were screwed up sexually, and a world view that condems sexuality is atractive to them. Some are conditioned to accept this world view through indoctrination, and it screws them up sexually.
In fact, most problems of this world, greed, hatred, even war, have sexual frustration as a root cause. Of course much progress would be lost also, let's face it, if your belly is full, and your libdo is satisfied, it kind of takes the drive out of you. |

Thanks for the Song of Solomon, Ronin. I'll add that one to my list of dreams.
The thread at Christian Forums has been reopened. This whole sex and sin thing really gets my back up. Hate and bigotry are "sins" in my book. Violent thoughts and actions are "sins". But pleasure and loving? I don't think so. [ December 15, 2002: Message edited by: lunachick ]</p> |
