Weird thoughts by Duconcho.
I was watching BBC and a promo for a movie about back in 1948 when the Isrealis first began to occupy Palestine. And I had a weird thought that doesn't have alot of basis to that promo.
I'm an Agnostic, and I haven't heard a good argument for the existence of god as of yet. However, if I were religious I would consider the possibility that follows: Think about books that are made into movies. Aren't the books always better than the movies? Almost everytime they are! So, knowing that the mind has a tendency to make things alot more visual and dramatized than when we actually see these things occuring in front of us, whether on TV or in reality. Isn't there a strong possibility that if the bible is correct, that we are directly in the midst of what it talks about? And with our highly romantic image of how that will take place when it happens is stopping us from realizing that? And we are waiting for something that has already come? I freaked myself out a little bit with this thought. |

Eh, I don't know. I think books are generally better than the movie because of the editing that required to fit the entire book into a 90 minute screenplay, and because movies are the product of a certain person's interpretation of the book.
Also, don't worry too much. God in the OT talked to people all the time, where'd he go? |
