Evolution is wrong...
haha, just kidding. I'm rather new here, I've been lurking for a while and I generally like this board. It has a lot of intelligent people on it.
I was wondering, how many people here post on different messageboards-about the Creation v. Evolution debate? I've seen a few other posts that are similar in nature to this one, so I hope I don't squash any toes here. As far as I go, I post on a few and moderate one. Darwintalk is the one I moderate. Here's a list of others that I either participate in or glance at: Creationtalk Evidence for God and Science Petreley Arn Christianity Bogus Beyond Belief Christian Forums (They actually never got around to approving my membership...) Ev.C ISCID Forum James Randi's Forum (not really exclusively about E v. C) Penn & Teller BS Creationist Board The 'Young' Earth Club True Origin Theology Web BaptistBoard That's all I got on my work computer, anyone else have any others? |

"Evolution is wrong...." is the best you can come up with? How about "Evolution is an atheist Satanic lie!!!" or "Evolutionists are agents of the devil."
Hell, we'd probably take it as a compliment. After all, we work hard maintaining the vast scientific conspiracy of keeping evidence for a young earth secret from the public. Welcome to the forum. I'm at TheologyWeb too by the way. Korihor (formerly, 'Nightshade') |

I should have said something to the effect of..*ahem*... You agents of Satan have perverted mankind since the inception of evil (the apple and all). Taking prayer out of school has led to an increase in violence, teen pregnancy, abortions, murder, the atheistic religion, and barney cartoons. The inclusion of the ***THEORY*** of evolution is a further attempt by you conspirators of evil. Darwin is not God and should not be prayed to, as you all obviously do, in fact he was the antichrist. Think about it, he perverted science to prove that mankind came about because of the big bang. Also the conspiracy is so huge that the government has convinced us that we've been to the moon!! Yet, these same evilutionists don't see how ironic this is because they are in denial. While on the moon ( ) buzz lightyear didn't sink fourty feet to the surface! If it was covered in moondust, why was Buzz able to walk on it?? Don't get me started on the dinosaurs...They are called lizards people!! Sheesh... |

Incidentally, while I have your attention: On this MB about yeast I think I might have flubbed up. My train of thought was interrupted as I was posting this morning and I'm not sure if it came across real clear...

From what I remember of his brief appearance here - maybe a year ago? - "average" is not the word I would use. But yes, he's just a guy with a BB. But he's far above average in obnoxity. Or obnoxtinatiousness, if you prefer.

Didn't he used to be a major contributor over at Christian Forums until he fell out with The Bear or something and flounced off in a huff?
Another board is the Beliefnet creation-evolution board, where most of the evolutionists are theistic evolutionists (which really annoys the creationists). http://www.beliefnet.com/boards/disc...sp?boardID=821 One of the creationists over there posts in exactly the same style as was described for the long-time creationist Karl Crawford on this site: http://home.austarnet.com.au/stear/thomas_and_kc.htm in other words, "a two line, dismissive response, the word "NEXT", the questioners text reposted and simply crossed out, a cut and paste from a creationist web site or a link to a creationist web site (i.e. only the scientific literature would do as reference material)." Probably the same guy, but perhaps he has fans who mimic his style. |
