Default How many of who?

1. What percentage of the US population is "Christian?"
2. What percentage of US Christians are "Christian evolutionists?"
3. What percentage of Christians world wide are "Christian evolutionists?"
4. What percentage of US Christians are Creationists?
5. What percentage of Christians world-wide are Creationists?

If you know of any links answering these questions, please post them. I've heard that as much as 85% of Christians are "Christian evolutionists," but that number seems high.

Well, the Roman Catholic Church accepts evolution, so someone is probably using a limited definition of "Christian" to get that figure.
Sorry I don't have any more info.

Well, we all know that Catholics aren't "real Christians," at least according to some Baptist organizations.

According to adherents.com:

1) 76.5% of the entire U.S population is Christian (159,000,000 people).

No clue where to find out about Creationists vs Evolutionists.

Catholics aren't Christian to any one that has actually compared Catholic Doctrine to Biblical. All denominations have their issues but Roman Catholicism, Mormonism, and Jehovah's Witnesses are the 3 most heretical and unbiblical.

Roman Catholics? HERETICS? Where were you from AD 300 to AD 1500 or so?

I prefer to think of them as Christian, rather than Bible Idolators.

Regardless, Catholics are considered Christian in the survey and census totals, and the RCC accepts evolution. Using the adherents.com totals http://www.adherents.com/rel_USA.html#families

159,000,000 Christians

50,873,000 of that total are Catholics (24% of the US polulation)
33,830,000 of that total are Baptist (16% of the US populations)

Which denominations seem to adhere to the creationist mindset? Is it the Charismatics?

Well, certainly the Southern Baptists in the last three places I've lived - and they also frequently regard the RCC as being the Whore of Babylon. The Church of Christ, the brand of it that afflicts the South, at least, is another heavily creationist bunch, but they view the Southern Baptists as hellbound piano-playing heathens. Many of the smaller denominations down here are also strongly creationist - Assembly of God, Church of God, Missouri Synod Lutheran, various flavors of Pentecostal.... Too many, anyway.
