I'm going to worship the sun.
I'm going to start worshipping the sun. Why, you ask? Well, the sun, for instance, gives us life, in heat and light form. The combined forces of heat and light allows grain and vegetables to grow, and us to be warm. It is also there. I can see it, but if I look for more then 2 seconds then my corneas get fried. The sun also teaches us morals, like sharing and how not to be lazy.
For 12 hours each day, we get light. We can either stay inside and type on the computer all day, or go to the beach and surf. Once the 12 hours are up, the sun goes to the other part of the world and gives them light. The sun also has it's punishments, but they are reasonable. Such as sunscreen. You don't wear sunscreen? POW! You have a burn on your back and you won't get sleep tonight! But the sun gives chances, but it has a limit. If you don't wear sunscreen and never heed the warnings of the sun, you're in for melanoma. So I say to you, why not worship the most reasonable God? The Sun! |

At least you can see it, but make sure you have good eye protection.

So you're gonna become a sun worshiper, eh?
On bit of advice... Be damn sure that you put plenty of sunscreen on your twig and berries. Trust me. I learned this the hard way. |

The sun is puny and anomalous.
Darkness rules the universe. It brings us rest and comfort and solitude. Join me and worship the Darkness...won't you? |

Didn't the early Egyptians already think of that idea (sun worship)?

And the Egyptians did worship Ra the Sun God. I think it was Nefertiti's papa who invented the religion, in order to wrest power from the arrogant priests. Just a bit like what you have done! More (solar) power to you! |

Sun worshiping was known even before Egyptians:
there is a story in the TALMUD and in Quran , about Abraham and his rational thinking Abraham in his TRUTH SEEKING tour , looking for the true God , He saw the sun and he thought : this is my God , He is so bright , so beautiful later on , when the sun has disappeared , Abraham thought , No this is not my God , My God will never leave me this story is the best story ever written , it is all about rational thinking My God is in me , never leaves me , he lives in my Heart , and leads me to his light THANK YOU MY BELOVED GOD FOR MAKING ME THINK AND MAKING ME A BELIEVER |
