Ojuice5001: Very sharp observation, yes, while Yahweh is number one, we can still talk to the God/deity of wind to help us. We don't th entire cosmos in motion, just the wind right here.

Imagine a Hindu walks into a church a sees teh bible and looks into it.
The first thing he comes across is the 10 c's As he reads it: 1. I am the Lord thy God. Thou shall not have strange gods before me. The hindu replies: I have only one God. Their are lesser deities liek Kali and so on. But I will not hold them before You. Ishwara-Pranidhana: Surrender to God/Light/Energy of the Universe I see it is the same. Good. 2. Thou shall not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain. Shaucha: Purity/Clarity 3. Remember thou keep the Sabbath Day. Tapas: Austerity 4. Honour thy Father and thy Mother. (Swadhyaya: Self-Education, Study ) 5. Thou shall not kill. Ahimsa - non-violence 6. Thou shall not commit adultery. Brachmacharya - moderation, selfconstraint 7. Thou shall not steal. Asteya - non-stealing 8. Thou shall not bear false witness against thy neighbour. Satya - truthfullness 9. Thou shall not covet thy neighbour's wife. Aparigraha - Non-Possessiveness 10. Thou shall not covet thy neighbour's goods. Santosha: Contentment The hindu sees that the main idea of this bible and says, this book seems divinely inspired. God surely speaks to all humans. Biff the Unclean writes: 10. Thou shalt not seethe a kid in its mother's milk.
So if you were thinking of having baby goat boiled in it's own mothers milk for a late afternoon snack forgetaboutit. Dammit! I had my baby goat and a boiling cauldron of its mothers milk all ready to go. I was hoping there wasn't some obscure ban against my plan for boiled baby goat - too bad there is. Perhaps I'll just boil it in some 2% from Safeway. Deke |

Mmmm, mmm, good
The group of commandments that bans cream of baby goat soup is, interestingly enough, the only group that the Bible actually calls "The Ten Commandments."
