Default Calling all atheists, I need your help please

I've always been one to enjoy the great outdoors. There's nothing as nice as a beautiful sunrise or sunset. A full moon with a sky full of stars is a wonder to the eye. How about the four seasons with everything springing to life in the spring after a long winters nap and then growing and blossoming through the summer. And what a beautiful sight the changing of the leaves is. I could go on and on, but you've seen it all for yourselves.

As a believer, I had always thanked God for putting these things here for our enjoyment, but you say that there is no God. Well ok then, if that's the case, do me one small favor.

Would you please tell me the name of the HUMAN responsible for putting all of the above mentioned wonders here for us to enjoy. I would like to give him my personal thanks and apologize for not giving him his just dues in the first place.

Please include his address, phone number, and e-mail address if possible.

I could try the phone book or directory assistance, but why bother when I have someone right here who seems to always have an answer for everything.

Thanks a bunch. I'll be waiting.

Isn't that the "Argument from Complexity?"

Regardless, we atheists do not claim a HUMAN created these wonders for us to see. That is foolish. It has taken natural processes millions of years to create some of the wonders we see on this earth. These wonders are not attributed by us to some person, but rather to nature.

The great thing about science is that it doesn't claim to have all the answers. When a new idea comes along and is shown to subjectively and repeatedly refute the previously held assertion, it is welcomed by science. Can the same be said for religion, whatever flavor that might be?

Tell me, Sonny, how did evil come into existence? I'll be waiting.

You are mistaken in assuming that "all of the above" was "put" at all. I agree it is marvelous, though. What's more marvelous is that it has ALWAYS been there.

Yours,

Garth

Sonny, forgive me but the only one I see saying that a human made all of this is you. You are calling this human "God," and you are attributing super powers to him. But no matter how super duper you say this guy is you are still talking about some type of a man.
We Atheists do agree with you however in your assessment that it is ridiculous to even think that someone actually made all of this.

How do you know that the stars and the moon and the stars, etc., are not just a dream?

And if they are, it would be you who put them there.

Well, I don't know the answer to your question, Sonny, but if anyone can solve the mystery it's you and your partner Rico. With Lt. Castillo's help, of course.
