I now wish to apologise for my intemperate and obnoxious posting. I have been getting my arse kicked, and rightly so, in other threads for ranting and raving. I promise to change my ways and will not write such drivel again. It demeans myself and this excellent site. My apologies.

I do not agree with your point though. I am not a "redneck" as another detractor stated and I find the NRA and gun-nuts to be crazy here in the USA. What I object to, is the extremists on the anti-gun side, who make claims that are absurd. It is a fallacious argument to equate a business which manufactures guns with groups who have done mass-murder. I am sorry, but I find this argument to be USA bashing, though not at all at the level of my nasty and cruel comments at the expense of your country.

Given the realities of the blood-drenched history of Europe, I find the constant chorus of European bashing of America, as a violent gun culture and nothing else, to be ignorant of European murder culture. We must find a more sophisticated level to address these issues.

Once again, accept my apologies, I have decided to not rant gratuitous nonsense in those forms again. I am sure your country is a fine place and would like to visit someday.
