I find guys who are creative per se as being sexy. And if they are skilled and talented within their art, then I'm in love from afar!

As for musicians, I think bass players and drummers/percussionists are sexier than guitarists - but then I find the rhythm and tonal qualities of bass and percussion to be sexier. That's not say to say I don't find guitar sexy at all, though - I do - just not as sexy.

Exactly! Well said. I think a similar attraction holds for painters, writers, etc. (Assuming they don't totally suck.)

Yes I used to meet my nerdy boyfriends in orchestras. They were all string players.
My current studmuffin plays guitar and had a crappy garage band in the sixties like lots of other people, but said it didn't help in the chick-getting department.

I like arty people because they have imagination. Therefore they have more personality than some others.

My high school age daughter makes wallets out of duct tape because you can make a real thin one. I guess that counts!

There's not much that's sexier than a person who's connected to the one true, universal and righteous well of spiritual goodness, and the only source of grace that can save the planet and everything on it: Rock and Roll.

For, is it not written: "Rock and Roll is the only religion that will never let you down." (~Lemmy)?

How can this even be pondered?!? Granted, there are some really skuzzy looking musicians/ singers, but musicians on a whole are very sexy. I love the wild, anachist looking types. I was gaga over Nirvana. But i also like elegant looking guys in the stuffed monkey suits. I think it would be an ultimate things if a woman could find a wealthy businessman by day, musician by night, and construction worker somewhere in between.

As a str8 dude, I find no men, with or without musical instruments, sexy. Keep thy skin flute to thy self, please. .

Perhaps the women-folk view male musicians as being able to display their deeper emotions better than the rest of us shlubs. With emotions can come emotional attachment. With attachment, it means that these fellas are more likely to stick around when the lass gets preggers.

Then again, most musicians (save the top 1%) aren't known for their keen ability to procure resources.

[alliteration] And many a male melody-maker has managed to maliciously mistreat his mate. [/alliteration]

So perhaps one might have to look beyond evolutionary psychology for an answer.

Hell, I was 8 years old when the Beatles hit America.
I wasn't even old enough to get hot, but the Beatles were so COOL and ADORABLE!! I would have jumped John, Paul or George in a nanosecond, had I been old enough

'Cause us saxophone players are so damn sexy (and I'm female )

I think I'm attracted to men who play instruments just because I'm in band, myself. It helps to have something in common with someone I'm attracted to.

Oh, man. That is so bogus. LOL!!!

If we are to separate muso's from other creative men, then I think bass players and drummers are hotter because they have a natural rhythm and are somehow earthier. It's got nothing to do with any romantic notions of emotional attachment, or the musician being in touch with their "feminine side", or anything like that. I just fantasize that they'd better a better fuck.

Well, I couldn't come out and say this. I might add that my husband was once a bass player and a drummer. Eventually he plans to start up a band as he has many drummers, two singers that can keep pitch, and a bass player. My sister plays acustic. We be jammin'.
