Why there can be a Supreme God...
when it is clearly all of life created from existence have no capability of taking absolute control of one's freedom after another?
To think that there can be something out of existence which can send us to hell is absurd. How can theists explain that? |

I do not know what you are asking in the first part of your message.
Hell does not exist. People send people to "hell" by confining them to prison etc. "Hell" is something the church uses to scare people into joining their congregation and ensuring believer's of Hell will not deviate from the church. This is just my idea. |

Good point and that is why hell is not of God but the result of religious perversion but real nonetheless. |

I don't have a problem with the existence of a supreme being as a possibility. I do have a problem with any religion that claims to own and define a supreme being. If a supreme being exists, its existence is not dependant on any religion's interpretation. If a supreme being exists, its existence is not dependant on our ability to reason. Reasoning is only speculation. How can we think that our reasoning alone can conclusively prove or disprove such an existence? We would have to be all knowing beings and have knowledge of all after-life realms as well as any other conceivable realm of existence.

Amos-
Why exactly did you type "????????" in your post? Hell is a place non-believers are told they will go if they don't except Jesus Christ as Savior. So non-believers are scared into looking further into Christianity because no one really "wants" to go to a place of torture and endless suffering..right? And once non-believers are converted to believers they maintain that status with a certain degree of fear that if they don't continue to go to church and worship that they will go to hell like all the other "sinners." Believers also go out into the community and try to convert others by using the "fear-of-going-to hell-as-motivation-to-join-the-church." This is my view. Hell does not exist but was invented like other things in religion to get people to come and join. I think this is one of the reasons why Christianity is the largest religion in the world with 2 billion or so members. Any religion that says that if people do not join the group that something horrible will end up happening to them is what I call a "fear based religion." Fear is a very good motivator isn't it? It is just one of many tactics used. |
