Heartless Bitches on the the subject of nice guys. The depressing thing is that when I first had a look at those articles I realized I was that kind of "nice guy." I like to think I am still a reasonably nice guy, but without the associated flaws.

ugh. Bad memories of finding a "certified heartless bitch" card in a friend's wallet stating that she had the right to toy with men and rip their hearts to pieces...a few weeks after she toyed with me and ripped my heart to pieces. I didn't say anything but it bothered me and she could tell. A week later I'm hanging out with her again and she tries to light the thing on fire because she doesn't like it anymore. I guess she wasn't so heartless after all...but still, that was no fun.

I'd say that I'm (and you'll have to trust me) that I'm a kind guy (as per the Heartless Bitches). I like a drink with the boys and have a few other rough edges but temper it with consideration, empathy and mutual respect.
I could never date a prim and proper "nice" girl. But I've dated competitive errrmmm bitches and that was not pretty. I could go into my dating rant but I'm a tad tired. Let's say dropping of gender bias and a dose of mutal respect goes a long way to a good relationship (and hot monkey lurve as well). And to add to ju'iblex' discomfort,  having had the pleasure to meet her along with the other Sydney Infidels last Saturday I add to the sentiment that she should not have to be a beggar.

Well, I would have a go at being bad, but really, its all a bit too much effort and I couldn't be bothered.
That heartless bitches website is interesting though. It looks like it's for people who hate shmaltz, more than anything else. |
