Post Was 9/11 attack faked?

<a href="http://www.nydailynews.com/front/breaking_news/story/40135p-37905c.html" target="_blank">Frenchman says 9/11 attack was faked</a>

Simply amazing. Maybe the CIA brainwashed the hijackers into thinking they were working for al Queda

Discuss.

There will always be deniers and hoax/conspiracy theorists attached to any spectacular event such as the first Moon landing, the Holocaust and 9/11.

I guess the French and Americans have different ways of dealing with congenital idiots -- in France they get book deals, and in America they get elected to public office.

I'm really surprised to see that he's planning an American promo tour, though, starting in New York, of all places. I'll be even more surprised if he makes it out of there alive.

Always the sign of a careful researcher. It would be interesting to see how he explains all of the twisted jet parts in the Fresh Kills landfill, or the landing gear in the middle of the street.

It is a little quick, but as the events fade further into history we are going to be subjected to more of this idiocy. I'm sure this will be a special on Fox TV in 30 years... :eyeroll:

He says the damage to the Pentagon is not consistant with an airliner? Well, he's half right. An airliner hitting the Pentagon head-on probably wouldn't have done that type of damage.

Flight 77 made a very tight turn, it's wingtip touched the ground, and it soumersalted into the Pentagon; at least according to every single eyewitness we have. And THAT causes the right kind of damage.

Actually, I did a lot of looking around at 9/11 conspiracies a while back. I found a lot of sites talking about how it wasn't a passenger jet that hit the Pentagon; that it was really a jetfighter and so on. Actually, the evidence that was presented on these sites was quite convincing; so much so, I ended up believing it. (For a whole day )
I later found the other half of the information on the crash, and with that, the "evidence" presented before no longer made it look like a jetfighter; instead, it became consistent with the airliner explanation once you had the whole picture.
Just a demonstration of how easily people can believe in something outlandish, if christianity wasn't enough.
As a sidenote, there were also some theories of how secondary explosives went off within the Twin Towers before they collapsed and so on, but there wasn't really much evidence either way on those ideas.

the moon landing couldn't have happened, because the sky is a solid dome overtop a flat earth. the bible tells us so.

Well lets look at it this way:

1) 9/11 would have been very hard to fake
2) A highly organised, highly funded organisation would have found it difficult, but impossible?
3) America built an oil pipeline through Afghanistan after the taliban war.
4) Bush stayed in office
5) America liberally applies pressure to Iraq now

Any person can see that America benefited from 9/11 in certain ways. But how important these ways are, we probably dont know.

Now look at it from Al-Qaeda's view:

1) We hate america
2) Let's fly planes into their buildings for the purpose of scaring them, but we'll try and get away with it
3) But how will they know who scared them? Whats the point of that?

Really? In only fourteen months? Do you need to check your facts?
