It didn't happen to a Muslim or anyone of any other faith - but it happened to a Christian. The pastor is not Bob - the pastor had no supernatural power - Bob had no supernatural power - but the God he believed in told him something and dispite the vast vast odds it came to pass. Though of course you won't believe it. If you were forced to believe it you would put it all down to pure chance. Bob just happened to feel the need to go over and visit the couple for no reason, he also felt that he should go to the airport without any cash for his flight, the man in front of him just happened to get extremely irratated and that man just happened to turn around and slap the money into Bob's hand. Yeah, sure it all happened by chance..we see this stuff all the time...forget about the odds...he was just lucky...yeah, who in the world would ever think that something like this could have been caused by the God that the fellow believed in! You will never believe anything anyone else experiences unless you yourself experience it first hand. - correct? How can you experience it first hand? - By giving the Bible a chance and take it seriously for what it says - only then will you be able to truly make up your mind on what the Bible is. If the Bible is true and you are sincere in your search then you will find God - "Seek and you will find.." If you are not sincere and look at the Bible having already made up your mind or just not interested then you will not find God. That is the plain truth of the matter. I looked sincerely in the Bible and I have found God - I no longer need to look anywhere else for I have already seen the truth. Let me leave you something: In science you formulate theories. Once you have your theory you then do everything possible you can think of to disprove your theory. You don't try and prove it, but try to disprove it - this is what you are taught, because it means you are objective. The same is applied to everything else including the existance of God. You all have a theory that God does not exist, most of you try to prove this from the Bible, contradictions etc etc. This is not scientific. In order to test your theory of whether God exists or not you must do everything possible to disprove your theory. This means that you must do everything to try and prove to yourself that God exists. The way to go about this is to sincerely seek God through the Bible - if you look at the Bible with an already formed opinion that God exists and if you seek him - you will then and then only find out if the God of the Bible exists or not. This I leave with you. Make what you will of it but it is the truth. PS I'm sorry about not being around for a good while - I was only able to get on for the first time in a while yesterday night. So I apologise for not being able to get to it Kosh and the others. I'll be posting there shortly, so keep an eye on it - it looks like more information has surfaced which is good. Cya. |

The above story is true and is fact.
I hate to ask the obvious, but how do you know? but the God he believed in told him something and dispite the vast vast odds it came to pass. And if true, how do you know the God "Bob" believes in was the cause of the "miracle?" [ November 22, 2002: Message edited by: Mageth ]</p> |
