They banned me yesterday too! They simply don't want anyone coming over to enlighten the flock.

I told them that I was a skeptical Baptist in search of real truth, and that I wanted to be above board and honest about my "opinions".

Well, one of their head nazis, Clint Klitzer, called me a "confessed apostate" and began deleting my posts. He finally pulled my user ID when I wouldn't go away and leave his little lambs alone.

It really is sad that these people can be so mindless and weak that they don't even want to discuss opposing views.

I vehemently protest the denigration of Dr Dino, his utterances should be treasured by atheists. Imagine if he had scientific training or any kind of mastery of commonsense? Imagine if the lies he spread sounded convincing?

Secondarily, he is hilarious.

Quote from Dr. Dino :

""The First Amendment has erected a wall of separation between church and state." That wall is a one dimensional wall. It keeps government from running the church, but it makes sure that Christian principles will always stay in government. "

Scary stuff.

How does this differ from Unitarian-Universalism?

Mike:

Never really looked at UU before. From the definitions I've found, here are some key differences:

1. Unitarians are monotheistic. Entropists are anytheistic, which includes atheistic.
2. Unitarians believe in the inherent goodness of people. Entropism is not like humanism - "goodness" is subjective and some of us are nasty.
3. Universalists believe its all the same god (Jehovah) believed in in different ways. No god is necessary for entropic miracles!! See also item 1 above.
4. Universalists say we all get the heavan we deserve. With entropism, belief in heavan is optional.

I think the Church of Entropy is the only real option for anyone sincerely subscribing to relativism. Atheism is all very well as a set of intellectual thoughts but it needs a human cultural binding element - maybe entropism is just a wider, more literal, implementation of universalism.

One thing the Church of Entropy would have is status as a non-profit on the same basis as the god squads. This would get us atheist folks some tax breaks currently denied us in many countries.

cheers.

The Baptists....hmmmmmm...Now I remember. One of their "apologists" I had a few classes with told me without a flinch it was o.k. to lie about creation, the flood, ect. as long as it saved souls.

I wonder what Baptist Board would say about that???????????

I believe the Bible actually supports lying to save souls. I believe Paul wrote something to this effect. I'll try and find it.

I can understand Omnedon1 having a grievance with his banning, but MOJO-JOJO went to another board under the pretense of a lie saying that he was seeking truth and he is disgruntled that he got caught?

You weren't above board with these people at all! Bully for them if they caught you in the act!
