Question Chick tracts question

I only became aware of Chick tracts after I deconverted. I'm wondering how Chick tracts were viewed by people when they were theist.

I always thought they were kind of silly. I had never seen one until I was in collge and then I was beginning the long road towards atheism. I was still clinging to theism in those days, but the Chick tracts were so over the top that I just couldn't buy them
