Very true. Every so often Art calls out his guests on their most outrageous claims. While I haven’t made a study of the occurrences I suspect that Art really does posses a bulls**t meter (albeit one with a high threshold).

Nice email you sent Writer@Large. I have sent emails to some of the guest hosts praising them after having particularly good guests (Christine el-Mahdy, Egyptologist was one such guest).

My interest in Art Bell’s program stems from my poor sleeping habits and my fascination with the delusional.

Did you know that "Art" is his middle name?? His first name is Dominic or "Dom" for short, but he didn't like the obvious analogy to his intelligence ==> Dom Bell
