Anyone planning on calling in? I'd say anyone who'd believe this asshole isn't going to listen to reason anyway. Anyone with a double digit IQ should recognize his claims for the crap they are.

Have you ever listened to Art Bell's program. The guy is a total nut. Anything that is "out there" from UFOs to sasquatch to mystic/magnetic/out-of-body/crystals/harmonic-convergance. You name it, he will do it on his show as long at it is wacky. It is quite amusing to listen (since he and most of those who call in buy that kind of crap hook line and sinker). I doubt that anyone with half a brain takes him or any of the loonies he has on his program seriously.

Should be worth a laugh or two though.

At the very least, I (and I know many others) would love to hear "Dr." Hovind's responses to some of the charges leveled against him, including the gross mistakes, misinterpretations, nd outright lies he has peddled over the years, and his questionable (to put it mildly) use of the title "Dr." At the very least, his answers (or evasions) would make for an entertaining night of radio

I was introduced to Art Bell while doing fieldwork in the middle of Nevada. We could pick up AM radio at night, and so, after a day of fieldwork we'd unwind by listening to his show. He may not be accurate, but he sure is fun.

Look at it from the other direction: How must Hovind feel to be lumped in with the Atlantis/UFO/Hale-Bopp/Cydonia/remote-viewing people that are Art Bell's stock-in-trade?

Oh wait, you'd need scruples in order to be offended by joining such company. I guess Hovind will be alright.

Bell has had Hovind before. He is fully aware who Hovind is and what Hovind's views are.

Has he? Do you know the dates? I am a "long-time" listener, but not a constant listener--my job keeps me from hearing the show regularly, except in the summer. If it was recently, the show should be archived for listening; I'd love to hear how Bell dealt with him (and what Hovind said).

Doing a search on the Art Bell website, the last time Hovind was on appears to have been <a href="http://www.artbell.com/topics0800.html" target="_blank">8/02/00.</a> Looks like he was on 8/28/98, too. Alas, no realaudio for them.
