I tuned in Dr. Laura today in my car (Yes, I am sick like that). She was reading this guy's opinion on the whole thing. She treated it as gospel. I'm surprised how most people's arguments have nothing to do with the court's ruling, it's all emotional; they are afraid of an atheist america.

No need for the Supreme Court... the judge is blocking his own decision from being enforced. Soon to be overturned... *sigh*
I can't watch the news, it angers me too much. |

Did anyone watch the thing on CSPAN where they had viewers call in with opinions on the rulling? I did not realize so many fundies watched something other then 700 club, I mean one guy called and he mumbled something about being Jewish and his parents dying and he started crying. I felt disgusted and tried to call but it was imposible to get through. There was one atheist who called but he atacked religion instead of arguing for the rulling, which I think is not the best strategy right now in this atheist-hating state of nation.

With that WFMY poll, you can block cookies from WFMY2.com and vote as many times as you want. Just so you know.
It might work for some of the other polls, too, but I haven't tried. |

It's a pleasure and relief to see sense coming from the leadership, when we see so much nonsense coming from some of the followers. |

In an earlier message, I stated that only 4.35% of people voting on my local station's poll about the pledge supported the ruling. So I asked people to stop and vote if they got the chance.
I voted, and it's a tad over 20% now. |
