I joined approximately a year ago...

Amazingly, I found most non-Christians friendlier,
more amusing, and better mannered.

I rediscovered why I stopped attending
Church services and started worshiping God
on my own.

As far as fun to play with, the amusement wears
off rather quickly... lol...

(kitten @ CF)
whatcha mean now? I've ALWAYS been an outcast Kitten..
which I'm used to.. just dealing with closed minded ignorance
is too much to deal with right now...

(Annabel's one of the few who has an actual sense of humor)

JohnR7 is entertaining (for about 3 posts). But attention deficit disorder becomes irritating after the initial laugh... lol....

I'm curious if he realizes how often he's made the 'Christians say the Darnedest things' List.

Anyone who get's uptight over 'grenade smilies' needs a tour of duty in Afghanistan or Kuwait (IMO).

A little 'reality check' would loosen up their rear ends.

I can't imagine going through life that uptight and angry.

Just open a science book and comment from it.. and watch what happens..

That or toss a grenade at someone for fun...

The ignorance displayed there (by a sizable minority of zealots) is breathtaking.
errrr... yeah..
I think I hold the record for 'you are warned' e-mails over there.
You can discuss 'anything' you wish (as long as you state it's a sin).

As one of my very close friends observed, 'It's hard to imagine we're all of the same religion'

Oh well...

It was amusing (for about 2 minutes) commenting on some of the statements. (my personal all time favorite was the notion that Yoga would lead to demonic possession)

On ChristianForums, the mods and admins that I've interacted with can't seem to be bothered to admit error to someone they think is beneath them. (Translation: a non-believer and/or 'dirty liberal'.) It apparently hurts their pride to own up the mistakes they make while moding. I've seen mods lie, cheat, intimidate, and refuse to communicate to preserve the shine on their pedistal.

I'm at the point now where I just have no interest in participating on a board that is so poorly managed.
Dirty open-minded liberal here..

But, seriously I didn't realize they were giving you a rough time about our smilies war.

I told them I hope a lack of a sense of humor isn't fatal, or I don't know if very many of them would survive. I haven't checked--it may have been deleted.

Lobstrosity--that's the one.

errr.. your comment was obviously deleted (as well as my smilies)

And don't take credit that I'm vacationing from that place.. I can deal with ignorance...

Ignorance without a sense of humor is a dangerous thing though..

Oh well ...

GOOD NEWS IS... I CAN FIGHT WITH YAH HERE...

Smilin, Sweetie, Honnnneeeeey! You can't just leave. You're one of the bright lights on CF.

errr...

when I get my new computer set up..

maybe I'll resurrect (sp?) myself

as an angry atheist transvestite...

(sounds pretty warped and humorous to me)

Bashing on me is one thing,
editing my posts without bashing
me first.. well THAT AIN'T RIGHT...

amazing WHY all the good ones leave there
isn't it?
