Perhaps one of the other moderators might move it, but I'll leave it for now as being satire, it has both a humourous and a serious side of it in demonstrating YEC techniques and claims; several of the pieces of "evidence" have been used by YEC's in the past.

Kevin Dorner, what is wrong with that quote? A few weeks ago I read the book it was from, and actually found it convincing. I think Johnson is unique in having a good case for creationism, and while I am not a creationist, I think that point can't be laughed off.

What's so funny about this is that these are virtually identical to the arguments used by actual Young-Earth Creationists.

As Weird Al Yankovic once said, some claims are so bizarre that it's all but impossible to satirize them.

I disagree. I think that Johnson's case is weak. He brings no evidence to bear o the issue, merely tries to make evolutionists look stupid or biased. I think that he is an embarassment to Christianity.
