The Historical Mary(s)
Does anyone have some good primary or secondary sources on the question of the historical Mary? Was there only one original Mary (historical or mythical) who was then bifurcated time and again into the multiple Marys we see in the gospels? Is there a connection between Mary the mother of Jesus and Mary of Mark 15-16? Between her and the woman from Magdala? Where is Magdala anyhow? Please help me fill in these details if you have them lying about somewhere. Thanks!

The primary source of woman is in Gen.2:23. The other Mary was the serpent made by Lord God in Gen.3:1. Both are used in the Gospels from different perspectives.
