Post Ground zero memorial.

I hope this isn't in terrible taste, But when I heard about the memorial service to be held at ground zero, where someine will call a huge roll, naming each person who died, I get this vision of John Edwards standing nearby saying 'Here', after each name.

Your post is in bad taste. This is not how I would honor the dead, but to each his own.

I know that the humour is a bit black, but my point is that charlatans who claim to contact the dead are inherently offensive, and do a terrible disservice to both the bereaved and the dead. The bad taste is really on the part of John Edwards et. al. I have simply framed their dishonorable profession in a different light.

Sad thing is, some people would believe Edwards and ask for a reading.

I seem to recall that Edward (I think his name is sigular not plural) essentially suggested doing just that on his show. I believe that the producers realized that it was in really poor taste and never actually produced such a show.
