Not sure (other than yes, Leviticus), but you can find them pretty quickly using
<a href="http://bible.gospelcom.net/" target="_blank">http://bible.gospelcom.net/</a> Gives you a choice of translation too. Very handy. |

In my opinion, these verses are less useful for demonstrating error in the bible, than for demonstrating the problems and pitfalls of translating ancient texts, as well as the need for rather liberal interpretation to "get them right".
Many Christians claim to believe a "literal" interpretation of the bible, but when you bring up verses like these, you quickly discover that they have a rather odd definition of the word "literal". You will also discover that if the bible said the moon was made of green cheese, they would come up with a convoluted explanation of how this was not only correct, but demonstrated a superior knowledge of science! |

Thanks for the responses.
MrDarwin: I think you're right. Someone on another board had said the Bible is 100% scientifically accurate. I figure we'll get around to translation and "literal" issues if they feel like dealing with my response in a substantitive fashion (unlikely). manderguy |
