Foreknowledge
Hi, I'm new, but I figured I'd just jump right in. But before I ask, let me inform you that I am still a philisophical 'beginner', so to speak.
I have been puzzled by the problem of Free Will and Predestination. Both aren't viable, in my opinion. But isn't predestination stronger in the sense that it could be argued that knowledge god has (his omniscience) is Foreknowledge? Maybe just knowledge? Like we have knowledge of our neighborhood type of thing.....he just knows? It might be helpful to say that I identify myself as agnostic. |

Since space and time are inseperable, and the commonly accepted definition of god involves this god being seperate from space (because she created space), I do not think that it could be defined as knowledge of the future or knowledge of the past or knowledge of the present. It would just be considered...knowledge. This obviously doesn't make sense. It doesn't make sense because it is impossible - no sentient beings exist outside of the universe.
