Not exactly "scary" but definitely ignorant - the DJs on Columbus's 97.1 had callers commenting on the pledge ruling. Evidently, if you agree with the pledge ruling, you're a wacko, not "level-headed," and smoke pot.

Concerning Eric B from the Baptist Board, it doesn't sound like he'll be a christian much longer. He seems to have been infected with the ability to think logically.

Red face

Scariest I've read (from <a href="http://www.newsday.com/news/printedition/ny-lipled172764876jun27.story?coll=ny%2Dnews%2Dprint" target="_blank">Newsday.com</a> - the whole article is scary)

And including God in the Pledge of Allegiance recognizes the faith of the men who wrote the Constitution, said Steve Switzer, pastor of Long Island Bible Baptist Church in Westbury.

"These men said prayers and thought of God before they sat down to write ... [the Constitution]," Switzer said. "Taking God ...[out of the pledge] is raping the very fabric of the Constitution."

I wish I could find a damn transcript, but Senator Mary Landrieu (D-Louisiana) compared the Ninth Circuit's opinion to Dred Scott and Plessy v. Ferguson.

Pat Robertson
The court should realize that if something much more terrible than September 11th befalls our beloved nation, the answer to the question "Where was God in all of this (?)" may well be "He was excluded by the 9th Circuit."

I watched the 700club too yesterday. Pat was disappointingly predictable in his response. Either that or I know the Jackass too well now.

Allah is not God, he is a pedophile terrorist. This country was based on the power of the 3 Gs (God, Guns & Guts!) get used to it liberal slime, a hard rain is coming and is going to wash all the sh** away that you have laid upon this great country.

The Lord will have the final say, not you.

Notice that the opposition is forced to use the term "religious majority." That is the point; the majority of people want the pledge as is and will fight to keep it. Nowhere in the Constitution does it say the minority has the right to impose its will on the majority. Some sniveling little coward who hides behind his daughter is not going to change it.

My country has been invaded and I am not surrendering.

I am pulling out the old MUSKET of the WORD OF GOD, and I am standing my ground.

ONE NATION UNDER GOD----this NATION (or it ONCE did), recognized under God to mean, GOD THE FATHER, GOD THE SON, AND GOD THE HOLY SPIRIT. THE TRIUNE GOD!!!! This NATION once recognized the Judeo Christian concept of A RISEN CHRIST, A RISEN SAVIOUR, A RISEN LORD, A TRIUMPHANT SAVIOUR OVER DEATH HELL AND THE GRAVE.

and so long as my CONSTITUTION has not YET BEEN OVERTHROWN, AND MY GOVERNMENT, I will continue to HOLD THESE VALUES TO BE SELF EVIDENT.

You idiots from these THIRD WORLD COUNTRIES WHO WANT TO TURN OUR COUNTRY INTO A THIRD WORLD COUNTRY (and have for the most part), GO BACK TO YOUR CHRISTLESS, GODLESS, INSANE COUNTRIES, and leave us alone here, FREE TO SERVE THE ONE CHRIST, THE ONE FATHER, AND THE ONE HOLY SPIRIT.

Anything besides HIM IS IDOLATRY!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That's all I can stomach at the moment.

This isn't scary, just moronic.

A Seattle area car dealer has decided that he doesn't want to do business with "people who don't believe in God", so he has decided that he will charge non-believers an extra $10,000.
