The Raelian Movement, World's Largest UFO Organization or bizarre cult? 55,000 members in 84 countries??? are they cloning new members because they cant recruit new ones?

To me this cloning thing is highly unneccessary.. There are Thousands of people on this planet that are not being fed properly, that dont have homes, that live on welfare, that dont have good loving parents, or that dont have a job, education or support systems from family. Yet they want to create more humans, in their own likeness no less. If that's not a god complex I dont know what is!

Im interested in hearing the opinons of other people on this issue.

Besides the fact that the Raelian claims are completely bogus, the possbile benefits from cloning extend far byond reproduction. That's a possible use, to be sure, but it offers far more benefits for medicine.
