Jesus cures AIDS?
A couple weeks ago on The 700 Club, there was a segment about a gay man who became a born again xtian. He says that one day God started to talk to him about the evils of homosexuality and redemption. The guy then found out that he had contracted the AIDS virus and was dying. Then he claims God healed him and is now completley AIDS free and is now living a good hetrosexual xtian life.
Has anyone else heard about this story? Has it been reported in the secular press? Can AIDS really go into complete remission? |

Mageth,
I don’t think it’s the same case because 1)the guy from the 700 club was white and his name was not Andre. 2) there was no mention of Robert Tilton or his show. |

I don't think it can go into complete remission, but if people are taking the modern drug cocktails the viral load can become practically undetectable by the usual methods. Also, I think that some people with a particular type of viral receptor can live with the virus as long-term nonprogressors for a very long time. But I've never heard of spontaneous remission of a chronic case of HIV infection.

Did the guy have HIV or AIDS though? I thought that if and when HIV became AIDS, no one has had a full remission. It would be encouraging if i'm wrong, i just hope there are drugs someday that will do this miracle for everyone unlucky enough to have the disease, not just faithful christians getting rewards.

No wonder there's no verifiable documentation, then. It must have been a miracle or a severe case of overactive imagination. That sort of thing hasn't been documented to occur naturally.

Wouldn't it have been all over the news though? Wouldn't christian groups constantly bring it up? Or would the satanic media keep it from being heard?
