Latest Godspam related to Pepsi's sound decision
Judas H. Priest!
When are the fundie minorities going to get a clue that NOT everyone in the world thinks the way they do? This was in my freakin' e-mail this morning; "Pepsi has a new patriotic can coming out with pictures of the Empire State Bldg. and the Pledge of Allegiance on them. But Pepsi forgot two little words on the pledge, "Under God." Pepsi said they did not want to offend anyone. If this is true then we do not want to offend anyone at the Pepsi corporate office. If we do not buy any Pepsi product then they will not receive any of our monies. Our money after all does have the words "Under God" on it. Please pass this word to everyone you know." ~~~~~~~~~~~ I'm going to reply, "Pepsi has made a sound, separation of god and marketing decision here. Maybe some out there would like to see 'Trust in Allah' or 'Praise Zeus'. In fact, I'm going to switch from Coke to Pepsi for awhile. Thank you for informing me, and please don't send me anymore godspam." [ September 17, 2002: Message edited by: MOJO-JOJO ]</p> |

DR PEPPER DR PEPPER DR PEPPER DR PEPPER
Dr Peper did the patriotic can without the "under god" on it. As was pointed out in another thread, the money doesn't have "under god" (it has "in god we trust", another McCartheism) on it. Doesn't the bible have something to say about bearing false witness? Simian |
